Deshedding Tool For Short Hair Cats & Dogs

Our new lab mix pup loves the brush.

I have 4 GSPs with very fine short hair. I struggled to find a brush that really helped keep down on the shedding. This brush is awesome. It works good when their fur is dry, but if you use it when their fur is wet, it is a game changer. It almost seems like it has texture in the teeth that grips the fur. So when I brush them during bath time, I pull their loose neck skin up towards their face then brush so I don't run into wrinkles. This pile was from our 1 year old pup. I could have gotten more if I kept brushing, but I didn't want to irritate his skin too much.I would highly recommend this product especially if used during bath time.

Pretty effective

This brush is amazing and my pug loves me brushing him with it. If you have a pug you know about the constant shedding and their double coat. This brush is a dream for helping to reduce shedding. I use it on my pug, Griffin every few days and always right before giving him a shower. Best brush I have used yet!!! Very well made.

Really pulls hair out thats loose.

Works great on my jack Russell (course hair) but not so well on my dachshund (fine hair)

It’s really great, my dog loves being brushed and this is the best brush I’ve ever had. My dog is a small and short haired she sheds a lot , it works great I wish I had it years ago either my other short haired dogs.

Great for deshedding dogs with a dense coat. Better for med to large dogs. Easy glide. Softness grantee.

Just got this for our puppy Lab as the shedding was out of control. Doing this once a week has really helped clean her undercoat and reduce shedding.

This comb works great on our Boxer baby who sheds. Easy to use and she enjoys it. That’s saying a lot because she’s fearful of everything. I would recommend for course, short-haired dogs, who shed a lot. It does seem to cut down on her shedding whenever I am consistent in brushing her.

Excellent for my small short haired dogs. They seemed relieved to get all of that short hair underneath the longer hair pulled out. Much less hair in my house aw well.

The metal rake works well to remove loose, both long and short hair. It work pretty well for removing the undercoat of my cat on a daily basis. The blade does not latch on very well, and is flimsy. The edges of the blade are a little sharp, so this could damage the cat's skin. I am going to try a different brand, and see how it goes.

Cleans undercoat well

I have a lab/pit mix and his hair is really short so regular brushes just were not doing anything at all. This gets all the loose hair and is easy to clean up once you get a bunch of hair. Plus it’s not rubbing up against the skin like the regular ones so he doesn’t mind being brushed. Comes apart for better storage too

The best brush I ever spent 14 dollars on!!!I have a yellow lab mix and the dog hair shedding needs cleaned up every day off of my wood floors. I bought this brush hoping it would finally be the purchase that would help with shedding. 20 stars!!! I brushed him 2 times and I had a pile of hair (big pile) both times. He fell asleep standing up while I brushed him. His coat turned out so shiny, soft am smooth. The hair on my floors has eased up. I will plan on regular brushing from now on. This brush is worth every penny!!!!!

AWESOME TOOL!

I have had Furmanator dog combs for many years. I have a Lab and she sheds constantly! I love this type of comb so am anxious to compare it. The only thing, I don’t think I like is yours doesn’t have a blade protector. The one I have came with a hard plastic piece that slides over the blade when not in use. You might think about adding that to yours

My dog has short hair and this brush works great at deshedding, he also tolerates it well.
