Worked like a charm on some very hard to clear matted fur on my Big British Shorthair.....Albert is so large he has a hard time grooming his hind quarters. This totally unmated the 'dreads' he was forming :)

It works.

I have a Maine Coon that's impossible to brush. Takes 2 groomers to groom her. This really helps with less matting. I don't use it every day, just a few times a week and I've keep the matting down a lot.
